Aseprite is pixel art software that has been one of my favorite tools for a while. It’s easy to use and pretty intuitive.

With this hot new update they’ve really kicked it into gear.

It’s incredibly powerful for making really great looking tilesets quickly. The fact that you can make changes to the way a tile and all tiles like it look inside of a tilemap you made yourself is really fantastic. Allows for a lot more experimentation I think
